Oglethorpe Co., GA. Deed Book D, 1800-1806 p. 455 Ga.: 4 July 1805, William Mumbord Stokes, Sheriff of Oglethorpe Co., to William Lumpkin of said co. Execution issued from Superior Court against property of Jane Bradshaw for $12 adjudged to Sylvester Nelson. James Jordan, late shff. of said co, 20 July 1803 levied on 65 acres belonging to the estate of James Bradshaw, decd. of which estate Jane was admrx. Suit on judgment entered against her & execution issued was prosecuted by her as admrx. of the estate. Land is in the co. afsd. on headwaters of Long Creek, adj. Barante Smith, heirs of Ephraim Phair, Phillip Wray, Esqr. & heirs of John Norton. 6 Sept. 1803, exposed to public sale & William Lumpkin was the highest bidder for $50. James Jordan, late shff., went out of office without making titles. In fee simple. (signed) Wm. M. Stokes, sheriff. Wit: Wm. H. Crasford, G. Hudspeth, JP. Recorded 22 July 1805.
